The value of the raw materials in a dump will rise exponentially as the availability of raw materials from the earth dwindles. We will spend millions mining dumps for value then repatriating the wealth found into new products. The big question is who owns the dumps and why aren’t they seen more like banks.
Property developers use artists to begin the gentrification process, technologists use early adopters to fatten the selling price. Either way, ‘the people’ are the engine that brings wealth and they see nothing of the profit.
